1. What this service does
Digital Meteors (15748666 Canada Inc.) operates an AI voice receptionist service for small and mid-size service businesses. When a customer calls the business, our AI agent answers, qualifies the caller, captures structured details, and either transfers the call to the business or takes a detailed message.
After every inbound call, our system sends a single SMS summary to the business owner or authorized staff member at the business. This is a customer-care and account-notification messaging use case, not a marketing use case.
2. Who receives SMS messages
SMS messages are sent exclusively to business owners or authorized staff at companies that have signed a service agreement with Digital Meteors and have explicitly authorized SMS notifications during onboarding.
We do not send SMS to:
- End-user callers (the customers calling our clients' businesses)
- Members of the general public
- Any mobile number that has not been explicitly provisioned through our onboarding process
- Anyone for marketing, promotional, or sales purposes
Example. When Anthony Esposito, owner of ALJ Heating & Cooling, signed his service agreement with Digital Meteors and provided his mobile number during onboarding, his number was provisioned in our internal admin dashboard to receive SMS summaries. He receives one SMS for each inbound call that our AI Voice Agent answers on behalf of ALJ Heating & Cooling. SMS messages are sent only to Anthony, never to his customers and never to anyone else.
4. The authorization clause clients sign
Every business client signs a service agreement that contains the following SMS notification authorization clause. This is the actual contract language clients see during onboarding:
SECTION 5 - SMS NOTIFICATION AUTHORIZATION
By signing this Service Agreement, Client expressly authorizes
Digital Meteors (15748666 Canada Inc., operating as Digital
Meteors) to send SMS text messages to the mobile telephone
number(s) provided to Digital Meteors during onboarding.
Each SMS shall contain a summary of an inbound telephone call
answered by the Digital Meteors AI Voice Agent on Client's
behalf, including: (a) caller name; (b) callback number;
(c) reason for calling; (d) urgency level; and (e) a brief
narrative summary of the conversation.
Client confirms and agrees that:
(i) Each mobile telephone number provided has been
authorized by its rightful owner to receive these
SMS notifications;
(ii) Client has informed each authorized recipient of
their right to opt out of SMS notifications at any
time by replying STOP to any message received;
(iii) Client understands that message frequency varies
based on inbound call volume;
(iv) Client acknowledges that mobile message and data
rates may apply per the recipient's carrier plan;
(v) Client acknowledges that Digital Meteors does not
sell or share consumer data with third parties for
marketing purposes.

5. What recipients receive after a call
After every inbound call answered by our AI Voice Agent, the authorized recipient at our business client receives one SMS structured like the examples below. Every message ends with opt-out instructions.
ALJ Heating & Cooling - New call
From: Sarah Williams (518-555-0456)
Reason: No heat upstairs, furnace not turning on. Caller has young children at home.
Urgency: high
Sarah called reporting no heat on the second floor. Agent collected address (123 Maple Ave, Albany NY 12203), confirmed callback number, and flagged for emergency dispatch.

Hartwell Law - New call
From: Maria Chen (555-0142)
Reason: Family law consultation, divorce mediation inquiry
Urgency: medium
Maria called seeking a consultation for divorce mediation. Agent confirmed the firm handles this matter, collected callback details, and offered Tuesday afternoon slot.

Brightsmile Dental - New call
From: Sarah Patel (555-0167)
Reason: Crown consultation, existing patient
Urgency: low
Sarah requested an appointment for a crown consultation. Agent confirmed she is an existing patient, offered three Friday slots, and scheduled callback for booking confirmation.

6. Message frequency
Typical total volume: 5 to 50 SMS messages per day, distributed across all Digital Meteors business clients combined. Individual recipients receive one SMS per inbound call answered on their behalf, which typically averages 1 to 15 messages per day for an active business client. Frequency varies based on the recipient's business inbound call volume and is not under Digital Meteors' control.
7. How to opt out
Any recipient can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying any of the following keywords to a message received from Digital Meteors:
Opt-out is processed automatically and immediately terminates SMS notifications to that number. Opt-out from SMS does not affect the underlying voice agent service or any other services provided to the business client. Recipients may re-subscribe at any time by contacting Digital Meteors directly.

9. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply per the recipient's mobile carrier plan. Digital Meteors is not responsible for delays in delivery or messages that are not delivered due to factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to mobile carrier issues, network outages, or recipient device limitations.
Digital Meteors does not sell or share consumer data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Phone numbers and personal information collected during onboarding are used solely to deliver the SMS notification service described on this page.
